In France, nearly half of the population believes in astrology according to a study by Ifop* with the Jean Jaurès Institute, conducted in 2020. If the survey reveals that astrology is the favorite parascience of French women , the other beliefs are not left out. Thus, 29% of respondents believe in the lines of the hand, 28% in spells and witchcraft, 26% in clairvoyance and numerology, and 23% in fortune-telling.
