Japanese TOPIX and Japanese NIKKEI fell by 0.4% to 27011.33 point, and Japanese NIKKEI by 0.0.25% to 1891.85 point. Chinese Shanghai Composite increased by 0.6% to 3455.67 point, and HANG SENG by 0.19% at 24289.90 point.

The Nikkei225 Stock Average is a weighted average of 225 Japanese companies that are listed in the First Section. The Nikkei Stock average was published for the first time on May 16, 1949. It had a price of Y=176.21 and a divisor number of 225.

The TOPIX, also known as the Tokyo Stock Price Index, is a capitalization-weighted index of all companies listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. The subindices from 33 industries sectors supplement the index. The base value of the index is 100, which excludes preferred stocks and temporary issues. It was created on January 4, 1968.

The Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index is a capitalization-weighted index. The index measures the daily price performance for all A-shares as well as B-shares that are listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. The index was created on December 19, 1990, with a base of 100. The index trade volume on Q has been scaled down by 1000.

The Hang Seng Index is a free-float capitalization-weighted index of a selection of companies from the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. The index’s components are broken down into four subindices, Commerce and Industry (Finance, Utilities, and Properties). According to “Armenpress”, the index started with 100 points on July 31, 1964.
