(Raleigh) Anaheim Ducks center Trevor Zegras is expected to miss six to eight weeks with a broken left ankle suffered Tuesday night in Nashville.

Zegras fell against the boards while fighting for puck control with the Predators’ Juuso Parssinen in the first period.

Rookie defenseman Pavel Mintyukov will be sidelined for approximately six weeks.

He suffered a separated shoulder when hit by Michael McCarron in the same game, which the Ducks won 5-3.

Zegras has four goals and seven points in 20 games this season. He missed 20 games with a lower body injury.

Mintyukov provided two goals and 19 points in 40 games.
