During an interview with Here Paris in 2012, she revealed that she had found love again. The star, who was 85 at the time, said he loved “a man with green eyes” who was “almost” his age. It must be said that Judith Magre has lived a few romances with men younger than her.

“I was very happy for fifteen years with someone who was twenty years younger than me. We might still be together if he hadn’t died. Our age difference never bothered him . I’ve also known men who were twice my age,” she told the magazine. The actress had been married from 1963 to 1971 with the director Claude Lanzmann. About men, Judith Magre told Paris Match that she had only one regret, that of not having been in a relationship with a man who was financially comfortable. “A handsome, rich and intelligent companion who would have let me practice my profession. But alas, I have never attracted this kind of men (…) I have had young people, older ones, all m left good memories.”

At more than 90 years old, the actress continues to climb on the boards. In 2021 and 2022, she starred in the play A German Life by Christopher Hampton. Unlike some of her acolytes, Judith Magre has never stopped practicing her profession as an actress. “I have to keep working to earn a living. My papers were made in such a way that, if I stop, I’ll be good to beg. How can you currently live on 800 euros a month?” , she explained to our colleagues.
