The Laval Rocket scored four straight and won 5-3 against the Syracuse Crunch on Saturday.

Jan Mysak, Danick Martel, Pierrick Dubé, William Trudeau and Tory Dello scored the goals for the Rocket. Trudeau also earned an assist. Kevin Poulin saved 36 pucks for the win.

Jack Thompson, Simon Ryfors and Jack Finley scored for the Crunch. Hugo Alnefelt made eight saves on 12 shots, while Maxime Lagacé stopped the Rocket’s other 19 shots.

After a two-goal rush from the Crunch, Dello ended the debate by scoring into an empty net, making the final score 5-3 for the Rocket.

Ryfors netted their second point of the game when they scored an important goal for the Crunch, who closed the gap to 4-2.

Defenseman Trudeau scored a fourth straight goal for the Rocket, which led 4-1 early in the second period. Xavier Simoneau and Emil Heineman had assists on Trudeau’s net.

The Rocket started the second period strong. Dubé scored after just 59 seconds had elapsed.

Mysak scored his fifth goal of the season after 8:41 of play in the first period to tie the game at 1-1. Martel then gave the Rocket a 2-1 lead with just over eight minutes left in the first period.

Jack Thompson opened the scoring after just 1:14 into the game. Simon Ryfors had an assist.
