A true star of the 1990s, Alicia Silverstone had met with success thanks to her role in the film Clueless. Already from her earliest childhood, she shot for the small screen, especially for television commercials. In 1993, she was offered a role in the series The Crush. With this experience, she is legally emancipated so that she can spend more hours on sets and filming and launch her acting career.
In 1995, it was the consecration thanks to the main character of Cheryl Horowitz. For her role, Alicia Silverstone received several awards including Best Actress at the MTV Movie Awards, Best Actress at the Blockbuster Entertainment Awards and Breakthrough at the National Board of Review Awards. Two years later, she played the role of Batgirl in the feature film Batman and Robin. This film, quite badly received by critics, however won no less than 230 million dollars at the box office.
In total, the actress has appeared in around thirty films and television series. More recently, she starred in The Shark, Last Survivors and Senior Year in 2022. On the small screen, Alicia Silverstone played the role of Erin in the hit series American Horror Stories.
On the heart side, the actress was married to singer Christopher Jarecki in 2005. The couple became parents to a child named Bear Blu Jarecki in 2011. In February 2018, Alicia Silverstone and her husband divorced, after 20 years together and 12 years of marriage.
