Alec Baldwin, Emotional: “I didn’t pull that trigger” on the ‘Rust set

In a new interview, the actor broke down in tears over Halyna’s death.

Alec Baldwin, who was in tears after the shooting death of Halyna Hutchins as cinematographer, claimed that he “didn’t pull the trigger” and that he didn’t “pull the trigger”. This incident rocked Hollywood and raised concerns regarding weapons on movie sets.

Baldwin seemed baffled by the circumstances of the shooting in an interview that ABC News will air on Thursday

Baldwin stated that the trigger was not pulled and that he didn’t pull it. This clip was released Wednesday by ABC News. “No, no, no, I wouldn’t point a gun at anybody and pull the trigger. Never.”

Hutchins (42), was killed, and Joel Souza (48), was injured by a round apparently fired from Baldwin on the New Mexico location of the movie Rust onOct. 21 officials confirmed the claim.

Baldwin said that he had no idea how the incident occurred to ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos. “Someone put an actual live bullet into a gun. It wasn’t supposed to be there.”

Baldwin stated that Hutchins was a favorite figure among her peers.

Baldwin spoke of her love for “She” and said that everyone who knew her was a fan and loved her. He also spoke with emotion, wiping away tears. It’s hard for me to believe it. It doesn’t seem real.”

The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office representative, who is currently investigating the case, was unable to be reached immediately for comment Wednesday.

“I look back and think about what I could have done.” Baldwin said.
