Aid in 2023: all the dates to remember

The government takes out its checkbook in the face of the constantly rising cost of living. After the energy check, the fuel check or the wood check, here is the youngest: the fuel check. Worth 100 euros, it could potentially affect 10 million people in France, mainly low-income workers who travel by car to get to work.

Please note, this aid is not automatic, you will have to apply for it on the tax site from January 2023. There, you must enter your tax number and your license plate and complete a declaration on the honor that you only use the aid for your business trips. Random checks will be carried out, assures the Ministry.

To benefit from it, your reference tax income per unit must not exceed €14,700 in 2021, i.e. for a single person a little more than the minimum wage, i.e. €1,314 net per month. While the minimum wage was set at €1,235 net.

Stay-at-home dads and moms are excluded from this aid, like the unemployed. “We have reinforced the budgets of Pôle emploi to support job seekers who need to travel to find a job”, justified Prime Minister Élisabeth Borne, on RTL.

The offer is cumulative, that is to say that a couple with modest incomes whose two people work and who own two cars will be entitled to 200 euros. The aid will be paid in one go to the account of the beneficiaries, which represents a discount of just over 10 centimes per liter for one year, on the basis of 12,000 km traveled annually.

We take stock below of the other energy aid you will be entitled to next year.
