Singer-songwriter Aliocha Schneider unveiled Avant elle on Wednesday, the first extract from his third album to be released next fall. French director Cédric Klapisch signs the music video that accompanies it.

After the English albums Eleven Songs (2017) and Naked (2020), Aliocha Schneider turns to the language of Molière for this new piece.

“I’ve never been afraid of anyone, before her. […] Never been so afraid of being abandoned,” he sings in this piece about the beginnings of a love story.

To put the play into images, the singer and actor was able to count on Cédric Klapisch, who also directs him in the French series Greek salad. To shoot this sequel to the film The Spanish Inn, Aliocha Scheider went into exile in Greece for a few months, a place that served as inspiration for the writing of this new opus, we say in a press release.

A tour of Quebec in November and December will follow the release of the album, the release date of which has not been revealed.
