A first “independent” McCafé at Montreal-Trudeau

Travelers waiting for their flight at Montréal-Trudeau airport will be able to get coffee and pastries during the summer at a McCafé counter.

No need to look for the Big Mac or the McCroquettes on the menu, since this is not a traditional McDonald’s restaurant, but rather a concept where they mainly sell coffee, croissants and sandwiches. This McCafé will be the first counter of its kind to settle in a Canadian airport, the fast food chain announced on Tuesday.

“This new freestanding McCafé location at Montreal’s Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport marks a turning point in the evolution of the McCafé brand in Quebec,” said Michèle Boudria, President and CEO of McDonald’s Canada, in a statement.

Located opposite gate 50, not far from international departures, the counter will provide order terminals for customers in a hurry to catch their flight. It will also be possible to eat on site.
