(Montreal) Laurentian Bank announced a series of changes in its senior management following a reshuffle that led to the appointment of Éric Provost as president and CEO earlier this month.
The Montreal bank says Sébastien Bélair will expand his mandate by becoming chief operating officer, which now includes overseeing product development and digital.
Mr. Bélair has served as Head of Human Resources since 2021 and was named Head of Administration in September.
The bank also announced that Thierry Langevin will join its management committee as executive vice-president, business services. He is also president of LBC Capital, the bank’s equipment financing division.
Sophie Boucher has been promoted to senior vice-president, head of personal and small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) banking services. She was vice president, business development and syndication, within the bank’s corporate services.
Mr. Provost was named to the top position at Laurentian Bank on October 2, a move that led to the departure of President and CEO Rania Llewellyn and the resignation of Chairman Michael Mueller.
