(Leamington) Cannabis company Tilray Brands has signed an agreement to acquire the stake in Truss Beverage it does not yet own from Molson Coors Canada.

The financial terms of this 57.5% stake in the cannabis-infused beverage maker were not immediately disclosed.

Truss brands include XMG, Little Victory and Mollo.

The company says cannabis-infused beverages have significant growth potential.

Tilray Canada president Blair MacNeil says the deal positions the company at the forefront of the industry.

Earlier this month, Tilray announced an agreement to buy eight beer and beverage brands from Anheuser-Busch Companies LLC.

Truss products are available in nine provinces in Canada, but not in Quebec or the territories.
