From Monday June 26 to Wednesday June 28, 2023, Emmanuel Macron will be visiting Marseille. However, “a large number of ministers want to accompany Macron during his three-day trip to Marseille. Some think that by spending time with the president, they may be able to save their skins”, testifies an adviser to the Parisian.

Rumor of a reshuffle intensifies as July 14, the supposed date of the “100 days” report, approaches. And the days of some ministers are numbered. They then try by all means to get closer to the Head of State. The enthusiasm of some for moving to the city of Marseille gives a glimpse of the concern aroused by the change of government.

While some ministers have been struggling in recent days fearing the upcoming reshuffle, others have peace of mind. Among others, Gérald Darmanin, the current Minister of the Interior, has no doubts that he will be present in the future team (perhaps even as Prime Minister). The situation is the same for Sébastien Lecornu, Minister of the Armed Forces and for Bruno le Maire, Minister of the Economy.

Others have also been able to satisfy Emmanuel Macron, such as Rima Abdul Malak, Minister of Culture, and his remarkable speeches at the Molières and the Cannes Film Festival; or even Gabriel Attal, Minister of Public Accounts, and Amélie Oudéa-Castéra, Minister of Sports. These few heavyweights will likely be rolled over to their portfolio or get a new one. As for the other ministers, the question remains unresolved…
