Singer-songwriter King Melrose returns to his roots. In September, he will present a new EP as well as a show featuring soul music, his team announced on Tuesday.
“Soul music has been an inspiration to me for a very long time and I wanted to make it a concept in which I could make the public travel in this universe that makes me vibrate”, indicates, in a press release, the singer about his new EP entitled Soulman, which is scheduled to be released on September 6 at the Ministère, in Montreal.
Two excerpts have already appeared, either Tout est permis, last spring, and Dans ta tête, a few days ago.
The singer of Ça se danse and Ne let me down will present this new material as well as some of his hits revisited in soul version on stage next fall.
A full album will be released in September 2024, the statement also said.
