Reshuffle: who are the ministers soon to be replaced?

The rumor grows: the redesign is coming soon. Behind the scenes of the executive, suspicions have given way to certainties. Only two questions remain: when and who? While the page on pension reform is slowly turning, Emmanuel Macron is still looking for a way to relaunch his five-year term before the July 14 deadline, the end of the “hundred days” agenda.

On the road to recovery, a cabinet reshuffle is the most obvious solution. If it “does not offer a gain in popularity for the President of the Republic, it makes it possible to reaffirm a clear course with people who do the job”, analyzes a Renaissance deputy (Telegram).

Do the job. Therein lies the problem. Emmanuel Macron would criticize some of his ministers for not being sufficiently “visible”, for not having been able to mark public opinion or, simply, for not being up to it. “Too many files are not progressing to his liking, and these ministers must be changed”, comments an adviser to the Elysée for RTL. According to the sources of our colleagues, only 5 or 6 heavyweights are not worried out of the 41 ministers composing the government.

Beyond the “who”, the question of “when” is on everyone’s mind. For the moment, “there is a kind of general atmosphere where we know that there is going to be a reshuffle, we are waiting too much, in weightlessness”, confesses a Renaissance parliamentarian (Telegram).

Is Emmanuel Macron waiting for July 14, the day of the “hundred days”, to announce the reshuffle? Does he prefer to wait for the senatorial elections in September or the vote on the budget texts in November? Does he want to know the results of the European elections in January first?

According to information from RTL, the President of the Republic had first set the date of June 20. But, the deadline being too tight, gossip suggests that the reshuffle will take place in early July. In the meantime, find out in the slideshow below which ministers will soon be replaced in a reshuffle?
