Canadians Eugenie Bouchard and Carol Zhao were eliminated at the tennis tournament in Bogota, Colombia.

Bouchard lost in three sets of 6-0, 6-7 (7), 6-4 against the tournament’s fourth seed, Kamilla Rakhimova.

The Canadian made three aces and four double faults, against an ace and three double faults on Rakhimova’s side.

Bouchard won nine service games in the match, while her opponent won 13. The Canadian won only 39% of her points on first serve, and 51% of rallies on second serve.

Rakhimova, 90th in the world, won almost double the points in service receptions.

Zhao, meanwhile, was defeated 6-2, 6-1 by Britain’s Francesca Jones, ranked 817th in the world.

Despite his two aces, Zhao committed 11 double faults, one more than Jones.

The Briton dominated on her second serve, winning 90% of the points in this circumstance. Zhao only won 33% of the rallies on his second ball.
