Change in the daily life of the French. The Descrozaille bill, tabled last November, was adopted on Wednesday March 22, 2023 by a majority by the National Assembly. The objective of this measure: “to strengthen the balance in the relationship between agri-food suppliers and large retailers”.

This law proposed by Renaissance deputy Frédéric Descrozaille, also translated by Egalim 3, is a continuation of the Egalim 1 and Egalim 2 law, as indicated on the vie-publique.fr website. The first, proclaimed on October 30, 2018, aimed to adjust trade relations “in the agricultural and food sector and healthy, sustainable and accessible food”. The second, promulgated on October 18, 2021, made it possible to protect the remuneration of farmers.

Concretely, what will this social and economic law bring to the lives of French households? According to this law called “Securing the supply of French people with consumer products”, many changes could affect our purchasing power as well as on supermarket shelves.
