Chip and Joanna Gaines have made a name for their ability to renovate homes. They are now ready to build a TV network with their talents.

With Thursday’s launch, the first steps towards their Magnolia Network are being taken by the couple who is known for transforming old buildings and homes into farmhouse-like styles. __S.4__

“It’s been a passion project for us, and we are so excited about it. Joanna Gaines said that we are finally here and can’t wait for the world to see what we have been doing.

These shows will include Jamila Norman, an Atlanta farmer who transforms families’ outdoor spaces and Brian Patrick Flynn, a designer who beautifies interior spaces. In one show, motels are transformed while vans are transformed into tiny homes in the other.

Joanna Gaines emphasizes that Magnolia Network’s main focus isn’t scripted programs but “real people doing real stuff.”

She said, “The thing that wakes us up in mornings and gets us to work every day is the idea of telling people’s stories.”

Andrew Zimmern is an Emmy-winning TV chef and four-time James Beard Award winner. He signed on as host of “Family Dinner.” In this program, he visits families across America and hears their stories. He has known the Gaines for many decades.

They are very sincere. They are exactly who they are. They are reliable. They are reliable. He said that they are open to taking risks and believe in vulnerability. They didn’t place any restrictions on the type of show I would make. They let me create the show that I thought was important.

Clint Harp was another host they selected. Harp is a carpenter, who was previously featured on “Fixer Upper”. Harp will present “Restoration Road” with Clint Harp after he travels across the country looking for items to fix.

“Joanna didn’t have to call me to continue making furniture for Fixer Upper.’ He said that they were fine all by themselves. She gave me many opportunities. “But she kept giving me opportunities. I told her this in front of others and to my face. Let’s go!

The digital debut of the lifestyle channel will be made on discovery+ and in the Magnolia app. A discovery+ streaming subscription is required to view the video. It costs $5 per month and includes access to the app. Magnolia Network will take over Discovery’s DIY channel when it launches on cable in January 2022. Joanna Gaines and Chip promise new programming.
