The Rise of international sailing in the river Guadalquivir has already started their voyage towards the edition number 55, scheduled for the second weekend of the month of September, specifically on the 12th. The regatta is the oldest of all organized by the Club Náutico Sevilla, whose origin dates back to the year 1966 and the last year was included by the Navy in the commemorative acts of the V Centenary of the first circumnavigation of the world, has published its notice of race. In the same are given details of a test that will unite the mouth of the main river of andalusia with its capital at over 42 nautical miles divided in two stages.
In the present edition, the test is only open to classes Cruise ORC and Catamaran Inteseries, subdividiéndose in this last in the categories Class A (flying and classic), and Formula 18. In addition, the regatta will again be included in the calendar of the Andalusian Federation of Sailing, vying with the range of Glass of Andalusia long distance in the Catamaran class.
