Flora Bonaventura’s face begins to become familiar to viewers. Indeed, in recent years, the actress has multiplied the appearances on the small screen. She has notably been seen in the I3P series alongside Marc Lavoine and Barbara Schulz, Une si longue nuit with Mathilde Seigner and Jean-Pierre Darroussin, Sauver Lisa with Victoria Abril, Caroline Anglade and Cristina Reali, Grand Hôtel with Carole Bouquet and Solène Hebert. This Thursday, November 24, she will be appearing in the new series of M6 entitled The man of our lives which tells the story of a crook seducing women to rob them.

Born on October 12, 1988, the actress spent her childhood in Meudon, in Île-de-France. At the age of 10, she discovered a passion for the theatre. After taking drama lessons at the Marcel Dupré Conservatory in Meudon, then at the Cours Eva Saint-Paul in Paris, she landed a small role in 2009 in an episode of the series Les Petits Meurtres d’Agatha Christie. The same year, she joined the cast of the series Commissaire Magellan, and played there for four seasons, Juliette, the daughter of the hero played by Jacques Spiesser. In 2013, she obtained the first role in the spy series La Source. She took her first steps in the cinema in the film Comme des frères by Hugo Gélin in 2012. The following year, she played in Chinese Puzzle by Cédric Klapisch, in which she played opposite Cécile de France, notably in very intimate scenes.

In an interview with the site Tout La Culture, Flore Bonaventura returned to her nude scenes in Chinese Puzzle. The actress plays Isabelle de Groote, a babysitter who has an affair with Isabelle, played by Cécile de France. “It’s never easy to shoot naked, but as Cécile told me to put me at ease: ‘tell yourself that your skin is your costume’. I think that when you’re an actress, it’s “is a gift of self and it sometimes goes through nudity. But hey, for me who is quite modest, finding myself naked, in front of 20 people, running on a roof was quite a challenge”, she confided. Regarding the kissing scenes, the two actresses took “it as a joke”. “And then… Cécile de France… there is still worse, isn’t it?”, she laughed.
