Have you remembered to take your umbrella? If autumn often rhymes with gray weather and bad weather, this season brings its share of showers throughout the territory. Even if the Indian summer sometimes plays extra time with the mild temperatures, do you know in which region of France, it is better to cover your head?

Holidu, a vacation rental site, unveiled in November 2022 the ranking of cities where it rains more in France. Thanks to data collected by World Weather Online, “the cities of France with more than 50,000 inhabitants have been classified according to their average number of rainy days per month as well as average daily precipitation statistics”, indicates the press release.

Between the All Saints holidays and the end of year celebrations, not to mention public holidays, the French always keep an eye on the weather to choose the ideal destination. However, some clichés die hard. If you think in particular that it is in Brittany where it rains all the time… think again! The following results may well change your plans.
