The evolution of the climatic situation seems to be noticeable. According to Régis Crepet’s weather report for La Chaîne Météo, at 2:53 p.m., the mornings of next weekend are set to be autumnal. Météo France predicts a drop in temperatures which will be brutal in places, since the thermometer will drop below 5°C in 11 departments.
How can this change in weather be explained? According to the climatologist quoted above, the flow generated by the current low pressure system and the strengthening of an anticyclone over Ireland will lead to the improvement of the weather in France. This northerly flow will mark a drop in temperatures, which is below seasonal norms. “In this context, small early white frosts could appear at low altitude, even in the plains, in the countryside,” he informed.
Beautiful clearings are expected in the west of France on Saturday. North of the Seine, the opposite will happen: the sky will be rather mixed, with some risk of showers. Near the Mediterranean, there will be clear weather, the result of a wind supported by the Mistral and the Tramontane, which will potentially reach 100 km/h.
