From November 11 to 19, the mythical Marrakech Film Festival will take place, which will reward many feature films. This year, the jury is made up of several international stars such as Italian director Paolo Sorrentino, English actress Vanessa Kirby, Australian director Justin Kurzel, French actor Tahar Rahim, German actress Diane Kruger, Lebanese director Nadine Labaki and Moroccan director Laïla Marrakchi.
During the first red carpet of the season, it was the Belgian actress Virginie Efira who ignited the red carpet in her black dress which revealed her belly, alongside her companion Niels Schneider. The couple had met on the set of the film Un amour impossible in 2018. “At the start, with Virginie, there was a shyness that I didn’t know myself. I didn’t think this story would be possible. .”, explained the actor in the columns of Marie-Claire and to continue: “The attraction I felt for her was so strong that I did not see how we could have had a relationship other than the one I expected” .
For her part, the actress quickly fell under her spell, as she had explained to our colleagues from Madame Figaro. “His way of looking at me and at women pleases me terribly. What touches him will never be stereotyped, always particular. Not all men are looking for a woman who could reassure their virility, fortunately! To be looked at by him is probably what makes me feel good”.
