Uber Technologies, the service platform for transport and mobility, registered a loss of 1.775 million dollars ($1.499 billion) between April and June . This means the reduction in a 66% the negative result recorded in the second quarter of the previous year, according to the company.

In the second quarter, the turnover of Uber has reached 2.241 million dollars ($1.893 million eur) , a 29.2% below the revenue recorded a year before, as a result of the sinking of the business of transport of passengers , Uber Rides, whose turnover between April and June fell by 66.7%, to 790 million dollars (667 million euros).

By contrast, the business of food delivery to home, Uber Eats, has increased 103% of their sales, up to 1.211 million dollars ($1.023 million), making it for the first time in the main engine of revenue of the platform.
