The officials of the General Administration of the State shall be eligible to four days of telework, and one face-to-face for care of children under 14 and persons dependent upon the agreement reached between the trade union CSIF and the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Public Function.

The resolution shall enter into force from reaching the new normal, from the next day 21 June, when the state of alarm, until it is determined the end of the health crisis caused by the Covid-19, as reported by the union, which has stated that it is a modality of “voluntary and reversible.”

CSIF has highlighted that it is an agreement “pioneer” in the organization of work in Spain, as well as on the reconciliation of work and family life, which will have its continuation in the future regulation of teleworking, which will start trading in July with the team of the minister of Territorial Policy and Public service, Carolina Darias.

In particular, this resolution provides for four days of work is not face-to-face and one face-to-face for those people that are responsible for children up to 14 years old , dependents, as well as those with diseases considered to be at risk for contact with the coronavirus.

For the rest of the people, the ordinary system of work will be face to face with the possibility of voluntary, at least one day a week, teleworking.

CSIF been valued as “very positive” to this agreement and considered that this should be the basis for the future agreement of telework, which shall govern the labor relations once the conclusion of the pandemic.
