the Village of The Festival Porta Ferrada 2020 of Sant Feliu de Guíxols (Girona) honour to the singer Pau Donés and the classic “London Calling” by the band the Clash, which this year celebrates its 40th anniversary. According to a statement from the promoter of The Project, on the 17th of August, members of the group Jarabe de Palo and guest artists will spend the night in Pau Donés, “in an intimate, relaxed and elegant.”

The musicians Álex Antennas, David Muñoz, Jordi Vericat, Nerea B and Micky Forteza -producer of several albums of Syrup, including his latest work-linked to the artist who passed away in moments different of their history, will be the main axis of the band that will review the themes most emblematic of Pau Donés.

The guest artists that will be participating in tonight will be Xavi Slabs -piano, keyboards, Joan Colomo -voice-Marc Clos -percussion – and Xavi Calvet -voice-, “with the possibility of any last-minute surprises in the list of participants distinguished”.

on the other hand, the 20 August will take place the celebration of the 40th anniversary of “London Calling”, with the premiere of the documentary restored “I Want to have a hardware store in Andalusia” (Carles Prats, 2011) –which recounts the adventures of Joe Strummer, leader de The Clash, in Granada and Almería–, musical performances and a DJ session.
