Erik Maes asks her to help him in his investigation”, specifies the synopsis of the fiction in which Hélène de Fougerolles responds to Grégory Fitoussi. If this thriller directed by Ivan Fegyveres is not inspired by a true story, its heroine was marked by this intrigue.

As the memories resurface, Camille will understand what could have happened. happen, and how she is involved in the discovery…”, explains the forties for Télé 7 Jours. Originally titled Valkyries, the thriller Les Disparus de la Forêt-Noire was filmed in Alsace from November 2021 to January 2022. According to our colleagues from Latest News from Alsace, the film crews set up their cameras in the Grand-Est and his region to film fiction. In cities like Colmar, Strasbourg as well as at the castles of Ottrott, but also across the Rhine in Germany in the heart of the Black Forest.

Asked by the TF1 channel, Hélène de Fougerolles revealed some indiscretions on this winter shoot. “We were in the middle of winter and it was terribly cold. I cursed my little boots which prevented me from putting on big warm socks! In addition, we were filming at staggered times with alarm clocks at 5 a.m. to take advantage of the sun. I was going to bed at 9 p.m. I really had a hectic life!” she exclaimed, reminiscing. “I keep the memory of a series under the snow. But Strasbourg is a very beautiful city and if the tone of this series is quite cold and austere, we were lucky to have a formidable team and to work in a super atmosphere”.

A leading figure in French comedies (Too young for me, Balthazar and soon in Sam), the actress Hélène de Fougerolles is illustrated here in another register: that of the thriller. A role of choice where the sublime blonde has opted for a radical change of appearance, revealing herself naturally with short brown hair. A metamorphosis inspired by an American star. “I liked Kate Winslet in the series ‘Mare of Easttwown’, where she appears without makeup and raw formwork. I had told my agent that I wanted to play this type of role”, she assures in Télé 7 Days with justification. “I wanted to prove to myself that I could interpret characters other than the sparkling and seductive blondes”.

The result is astonishing, so much so that the actress herself “does not recognize herself”. And, to conclude. “It’s a character that I composed”. Before discovering The Disappeared from the Black Forest this evening and next Thursday on TF1, a look back at the shots of the filming published on social networks.
