Tuesday’s Washington Capitals- Philadelphia Flyers match was postponed due to COVID-19 problems on the Flyers, a source confirmed to ESPN.

The Flyers are the fifth NHL group on pause.

Last week, the NHL improved its in-arena security protocols, for example enforcing more social distancing in locker rooms and eliminating glass behind seats for greater air flow. The NHL also attempted mandating that players arrive at the racket no less than 1 hour 45 minutes prior to a match — although the team softened its position on that, due to player pushback.

The NHL has been analyzing players and staffers every day together with PCR tests, but it’s started to layer in faster testing at arenas, especially on match days.
