Simona Halep (WTA 6) in the WTA tournament in the Chinese Wuhan (hard/2.828.000 dollars) in the eighth-finals. The Romanian national was on strike against Elena Rybakina (WTA 50), from Kazakhstan in the first set with an injury in the fight.
Halep was the first to set-up at a 4-5 disadvantage as they have allowed only one attempt complained about a sharp pain in her lower back. The former world number 1 was that the party was not able to continue, and gave up on it. Halep earlier, earlier, in the sixteenth-finals in the Czech republic Barbora Strycova (WTA 34): 6-3, 6-2. It was her first gig since her elimination in the second round of the US Open last month.
Rybakina encounter in the quarter-finals of the Dutch Kiki Bertens (WTA 8). the White-Russian lady Aryna Sabalenka (WTA 14).
