A new tool for retirees. Recently a report from the Court of Auditors had overwhelmed the National Old Age Insurance Fund (Cnav) because of major errors penalizing retirees.

Indeed, as revealed by the Midi Libre, anomalies in the calculation of pensions had slipped into one file out of seven, for a total amount of 70 million euros lost for the beneficiaries of the retirement pension.

To solve this problem, the CNAV has developed a new online service allowing you to consult, modify or even complete information relating to your career. Documents can also be added directly and the evolution of the regularization will be directly available online.

Called “Completing my career”, this tool, initially planned for the end of 2022, will finally be gradually launched in the first quarter of 2023.

“The IT tool is ready. The new service will be launched at the beginning of 2023 during the first quarter. For the first year of operation, the objective is to make it available to around 100,000 to 200,000 policyholders, and if everything goes going well to deploy it on a larger scale in a second time”, explains Renaud Villard, director general of the Cnav, in the columns of the Echos.

Thus, this new tool will allow retirees to receive the pension due to them, even if they may have been penalized in the past due to frequent errors. It will still be necessary to be patient before the service is available to all those concerned.
