The engraved rock was part of the walls that delimit the path that runs along the edges of the Caldera de Taburiente to its passage by the municipality of Windward . It was discovered by chance by Antonio Rodríguez Lerín and Álvaro Rodríguez Felipe June 11, and consists of a panel, triangular in shape and over 100 pounds of weight, which is supported by a loose stone 82 by 44 inches and a thickness of 24 inches.

Thematic complex

The grounds are a small spiral and meandriforme of great development, in some sections, it becomes wavy. Jorge Pais points out that it is one of the panels “the more beautiful and complex that have been discovered in the fields of grazing for the summer located on the edges of the Caldera de Taburiente ”.

The Archaeological Museum Benahoarita what will transfer temporarily to the National Park of the Caldera de Taburiente for their exhibition in the Visitor Center of The Stones.
