The list of recalled products continues to grow. After eggs, cookies and turkey cutlets, it is now the turn of several spice blends to be subject to a voluntary recall procedure by the producer “Le monde du tube”. The cause: “the suspicion of the presence of peanuts in one of the ingredients of the product”, indicates Rappel conso.

These different products were marketed throughout France between April 14 and June 24, 2022. Here is the list of the different distributors of these spice blends:

If you have recently purchased some, open your cupboards wide and make sure that it is not one of the lots affected by this recall procedure.

In the slideshow below, find the list of the different spice blends concerned as well as all the information necessary for their identification.

These spice blends are subject to a recall procedure following the suspicion of the presence of the second most important allergen in France: peanuts. Indeed, 1% of children and 0.5% of adults are allergic to peanuts in France, specifies Passeport Santé. In an allergic person, “the ingestion of peanuts, even in trace amounts, can cause anaphylactic shock and lead to death”, recalls the health site.

To avoid the slightest risk, Rappel Conso indicates that these spice mixtures should no longer be consumed.

If you have any at home, you can bring them back to your point of sale and request an exchange or refund of the product(s) concerned. You have until Saturday, December 31, 2022, the date on which this recall procedure ends, to take this step.
