Because of a bomb threat, a ICE in the Frankfurt South railway station has been stopped on Friday. The threat became known, as against 14 at the Federal police, said spokesman Ralf Ströher to FAZ.NET. Around 500 passengers had to leave the train. Officials of the Federal police were busy early in the afternoon in order to search the train.

In the South station, the tracks 5 and 6 had to be closed. In the S-Bahn and regional traffic, it came to delays and failures. The ICE came from the Frankfurt main train station.
