Musicfest ’22 will be a great time for Poison fans.


As part of Musikfest 2022, the legendary rockers will be rocking the Wind Creek Steel Stage at PNC Plaza Aug. 7. The 39th annual festival will feature the band as the headliner. It is scheduled to take place Aug. 5-14.

The original date for the show was Musikfest 2020. Tickets that were already sold will still be valid.

Poison is best known for their hits “Every Rose Has Its Thorn”, “Nothin’ But A Good Time” and “Unskinny Bop”. They started out playing in bars in Pennsylvania and later moved to the Los Angeles nightlife. Their first album, “Look What The Cat Dragged in”, sold over three million copies. Their album “Open up and Say…Ah!” was multi-platinum and sold over eight million copies within a year of its release.

Michaels is originally from Butler, Pennsylvania. He became a celebrity through his hit TV show “Rock Of Love” as well as his winning season on the “Celebrity Apprentice.” Michaels’ philanthropic work also includes his Life Rocks Foundation which funds diabetes awareness and fundraising for veterans’ organizations, children with cancer and rescue animals.

Musikfest, the largest event of the non-profit arts organization, is a 10-day music festival that attracts nearly 1,000,000 visitors each year. The festival will also feature the legendary band Alabama and country superstar Kelsea Balerini.
