Raclette season has started. With the return of the cold in a large part of the French departments, this popular traditional dish has also made a comeback on the tables. Ideal for warming up during an evening with friends or family, the raclette is as popular as ever. According to a survey carried out by the CSA institute and unveiled in June 2022 on C8 during the program Les 10 Favorite Dishes, the ranking of the French, raclette is ranked second, behind chicken and fries.

Cheeses, potatoes and charcuterie are essential elements of this dish whose origins date back to the Middle Ages. Thus, for many fans of this meal, it is unthinkable to eat a raclette without cooked ham. However, it is this product that is now affected by a recall procedure.

Thus, the superior ham with rind sold in format 4 slices of 160 g of the Auchan brand is today the subject of a recall on the Rappel Conso website. It was on sale in many of the brand’s supermarkets between November 3 and 18, 2022. It should therefore no longer be consumed and can be returned to the store for a refund.

This procedure follows a labeling anomaly, which takes the form of an error on the expiry date affixed to the product cell. Here are the references of the ham concerned.

The product in question was on sale in Auchan supermarkets in several departments. Discover the complete list of the places concerned in our slideshow.
