Like 4.5 million employees and civil servants, do you benefit from holiday vouchers? Good news, the passes issued in 2022 can be used until December 2024, at 200,000 points of sale. Distributed since 1982 by the National Agency for Holiday Checks (ANCV), they allow French people to pay for part of their stays in France, but also to European Union countries. In total, 10 million people (including families) benefit from it. How to get these precious checks?

All companies have the possibility of offering holiday vouchers. The latter, nominative, are paid in part or in full by the employer, thanks to a subsidy from the works council. 10, 20, 25 and 50 € denominations are valid for two years. These titles, generally granted in paper format, are now also issued electronically. The Chèque Vacances Connect is indeed accessible via a mobile application.

On the other hand, unlike paper titles, these dematerialized titles can only be used on partner websites (Gîtes de France, Lastminute, etc.), for reservations of at least €20, reports Le Figaro.

Be careful though, because some establishments do not accept holiday vouchers. To avoid unpleasant surprises, remember to check the presence of the ANCV logo at the entrance to the establishment or on the professionals’ website.

Note that these tickets can also be used for stays in Europe, provided that they are first used with a professional, in France.
