The French first division club Racing Strasbourg will continue to play, in honor of the victims of the attack on the Christmas market on the last Tuesday in the League game on Saturday (20.00) at Stade Reims in a special Jersey. The club President Marc Keller announced on Thursday. In the attack, three people were killed, 13 wounded, and a number of traumatised witnesses.

“What happened in Strasbourg, was felt around the world, and the small contribution that we provide is that we will play on Saturday in Reims in a Jersey with no sponsor’s logo, a special Jersey,” said Keller.

The would-be assassin Chérif Chekatt (29) was opened on Tuesday evening 20.00 PM in a busy Shopping street close to the Christmas market, the fire on passers-by, and also with a knife attacked. After an exchange of fire with the police Chekatt managed to escape and has since been on the run.
