The family of the slain Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi to forgive his murderers. “If a person forgives and reconciles, he gets his reward from Allah,” tweeted Khashoggis son of Salah. “That’s why we proclaim that the sons of the Martyr Jamal Khashoggi, that we pardon those who have killed our father.”
Khashoggi was on 2. October 2018 at the Saudi Arabian Consulate in Istanbul was murdered. Khashoggi, who lived in the United States,was a harsh critic of the crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the de facto ruler of the ultra-conservative Kingdom. According to the Turkish representation of the murder of the highest Saudi Arabian office has been arranged. The US secret service, CIA and some Western governments were convinced that Mohammed had arranged the murder.
A court in Saudi Arabia had condemned last December by case, five people to death. Salah Khashoggi said to the judgment, that “it was fair” and that justice had been achieved.
