Faced with the spread of rumors about his condition, Elton John decided to speak out by posting a message on Instagram. “I want to thank all my fans who contacted me to ask me about my health,” he wrote on June 2 on the social network.
“The truth is that I am in perfect health, that I love my concerts and that I play and sing at my best, he confides on Instagram. never disappoint, especially after everyone has waited so long to come back to see shows. Your response to every show has been phenomenal and I appreciate every minute of it.”
Regarding the wheelchair, he also wanted to clarify the situation. “After another 2.5 hour show, we arrived at Leipzig airport just before curfew to find that part of the airport was closed. The walk to the plane was extremely long, and my team kindly provided me with a wheelchair so I could rest my hip after the show.”
