The proposed weapons ban zone in the centre of Wiesbaden has cleared an important hurdle. The magistrate had agreed to the Zone and the city Council is recommended to adopt an appropriate Ordinance, the municipality informed.
“The experiences and statistics of the police show the need for a weapons prohibition zone,” said mayor Oliver Franz (CDU).
the Lord mayor Sven Gerich (SPD), announced the effectiveness of the weapons ban to check that zone after three years.
The city Council will deal on Thursday with the theme.
