The suits are requesting compensation for the wagers dropped; you is seeking Baffert’s complete dismissal in the game

Embattled Hall of Fame coach Bob Baffert is facing more trouble this week after it had been disclosed that Kentucky Derby winner Medina Spirit neglected a post-race drug evaluation, and currently there are allegedly legal consequences.

“All of us think it is a longshot,” one plaintiff in the California lawsuit advised the socket. “However, if we do not (talk ) for the bettors, then it is only going to continue going. Nothing will change, in my own view.”

The suits are requesting reimbursement for those wagers dropped after Medina Spirit’s triumph and yet another is looking for Baffert’s complete dismissal in the game.

Baffert’s lawyer, Craig Robertson, told the Courier-Journal the California suit is”completely frivolous with no lawful merit.”

“We are always left holding the bag, and there’s never appear to be any implications for people that are in a position to avoid something like this from occurring, however won’t,” a plaintiff at the Jefferson County case stated. “This suit is about more than just the cash. It is far past time that coaches and racetracks become held to account for their failures and actions. My expectation is that this litigation will alter the way things are done and alter behaviour.”

Churchill Downs, Inc. can be called in one of those suits for failing to discover the medication before the race.
