A trio of heroines who have marked French television. In 1996, Adeline Blondieau, Bénédicte Delmas and Tonya Kinzinger formed the funny ladies of Saint-Tropez who landed on our screens in Sous le soleil. A cult soap opera broadcast on TF1 which has won over millions of followers over the seasons.
At the heart of French fiction, viewers follow the adventures of Caroline Drancourt, Laure Olivier and Jessica Lowry, three friends whose lives were punctuated by family stories, love and drama. The soap opera has also seen many comedians, but also welcomed some stars (Bernard Montiel, Manuela Lopez, Vincent Lagaf’, etc.). But, after 12 years on the air, the actresses said goodbye to the series in 2008.
In 2013, Adeline Blondieau was the only one to return to the spin-offSous le soleil de Saint-Tropez, broadcast on TMC. Questioned by Planet, the actress had entrusted us with her memories of filming. “I have a lot of tenderness for this series”, she declared in November 2019, regretting that the sequel did not have the same success as the fiction of TF1. “I loved doing the spin-off. I was very sad when it ended. But today, it’s another part of life,” says the one who works as a sophrologist.
Unlike Johnny Hallyday’s ex-wife and mother, her friend Bénédicte Delmas continued her career on film sets behind the camera. After the end of Under the sun, the interpreter of Laure Olivier became a screenwriter and director for several fictions such as Tandem on France 3, The Code and Un si grand soleil on France 2. It is in particular on this fiction that she has had the opportunity to reunite with her friend Tonya Kinzinger for a few episodes.
Heroine of the famous soap opera created in 2018, where she plays Doctor Janet Lewis, the Franco-American actress had published a video of their reunion on her Instagram page in June 2021. In the pages of the magazine Nous Deux, the ex-candidate of Dance with the stars (and mother who celebrated her 54th birthday on June 20) assured that she had kept in touch with her two partners “because we have lived very strong moments together. Naturally, there are times when we talk more than others, but we are still very close”.
